Day 6 - Light
Part 2 - Spreading The Light

Spreading The Light
To live as light is to speak and act with kindness. It means sitting with someone in grief or celebrating their joy. It is creating beauty through art, music, or even simple decorations that spark joy the way twinkling lights transform a room. And it is gathering intentionally, making our homes, tables, and conversations places where others feel the glow of belonging and the assurance that they are not alone.
When I think about the first Christmas, I’m reminded that Jesus came as light for everyone. He wasn’t born in a palace for the powerful or reserved for a certain group—He came in a manger, welcomed by shepherds, strangers, and seekers from far away. That tells me His kindness isn’t limited by race, gender, status, or any boundary we humans tend to build. To live as light today is to follow His example: to be kind without hesitation, to sit with someone in sorrow, to celebrate their joy, and to make space where every person feels they belong. Just as the star guided all who searched for Him, our words and actions can guide others toward the assurance that they are not alone, and that love is meant for all.
