There was no Place in the Inn
Scripture tells us that Mary and Joseph were far from home when Jesus was born. They were caught up in the chaos of a government census. No room, no welcome, just the kindness of a farmer to rest where the farm animals reside.
And yet-
God chose That Place. That Moment. That Quiet Corner of the world to bring us the Savior of the World.
This season, may we remember that even in the mess, the waiting, the not - quite - what - we - planned,
God still draws near.
